"I joined AHIMA mostly for the..."
I joined AHIMA mostly for the member perks and certification resources, and there are definitely some good things included. The webinars, articles, discounts, and HIM-related materials have been useful, especially when I’m trying to stay current or find support for career development.
That said, the website isn’t the easiest to navigate, and some of the benefits take more digging than I expected. For what the membership costs, I hoped the whole experience would feel a little more polished. I don’t regret joining, but I did feel a bit disappointed because I wanted to love it more than I actually do

"Helpful, but could be easier to follow"
Not gonna lie, AHIMA has a lot of useful information and most of it seems accurate. That said, some pages feel a little outdated or are just harder to follow than they need to be. I ended up double-checking a few things on other sites to make sure I understood everything correctly. Overall, it’s not bad, but it would be better if the content was clearer and updated more often

"I’m usually quick to decide if something..."
I’m usually quick to decide if something is worth my time, and this was. Their career resources made job searching and figuring out my next move at work feel way less confusing.

"Helpful webinars, though I struggled to keep up at times"
I used ahima.org mostly for a couple of webinars to stay current on coding and HIM updates, and overall they were genuinely useful. The topics felt relevant to what I actually needed, not just a bunch of broad industry talk.
The speakers definitely seemed like they knew what they were talking about, and I appreciated that the information was practical. That said, a few sections moved quickly, and part of that is on me for thinking I could multitask while watching. The slides also could’ve been a little clearer in spots, which would have helped.
In the end, I got what I came for and would probably use it again. It wasn’t perfect, but for the time and cost, it was helpful enough and worth it for keeping myself updated...

"Had trouble logging into my ahima account, and..."
Had trouble logging into my ahima account, and my course page wasn’t loading the way it should. Frustrating at first because I needed to get into it that day.
Sent in a support ticket and heard back faster than I thought I would. Was expecting some generic reply, but the person actually looked into my account and gave me simple steps to try.
Took just one back and forth, and it was fixed the same day. was happy with the tech support.

"Reliable spot for HIM and coding info!"
I usually head to ahima.org when I need solid info on HIM or coding-related topics. The site feels professional, up to date, and trustworthy overall. Some pages can take a little digging to find, but it’s still one of my go-to resources :)

"Finally, a site that doesn’t feel sketchy"
After dealing with so many sites that make you second-guess everything, this one has been a relief. It feels legit, it’s easy to trust, and I haven’t run into any weird issues or annoying surprises. Wish more sites were this straightforward.

"Helpful resources, uh, just a little hard to navigate"
ahima.org has a lot of useful info, especially if you’re looking into coding or health information topics. Most of the pages load fine, and I can usually find what I’m looking for. Uh, some of the menus are a bit confusing though, and a few documents take more clicks than I’d expect. Overall it’s a good site, I just wish it was a little easier to get around.

"AHIMA.org does have a lot of useful information..."
AHIMA.org does have a lot of useful information and I was able to find what I needed eventually. Some of the pages were just not explained in the clearest way so I had to go back and read things more than once.
It was not a bad experience overall but I do wish the wording was more simple. The updates could also be easier to follow because sometimes it feels like you are piecing things together yourself.

"Surprisingly useful conference"
I went in expecting the usual conference routine—too much coffee, a few buzzwords, and maybe one decent takeaway. Ironically, the sessions were actually really helpful, and I ended up learning a lot more than I planned to

"Fair overall, but watch out for the extra fees"
I’ve been using ahima.org for my membership and courses, and overall I think the pricing is reasonable for what you get. That said, public warning: the exam fees, renewal costs, and other little add-ons can pile up quicker than you might expect. I just wish everything was laid out a bit more clearly upfront so you know exactly what you’re getting into. I’m still happy with it overall, but definitely budget ahead if you’re planning to use their services.

"Really solid online courses that didn’t make me lose my mind"
I took a couple of online courses on ahima.org, i was pleasantly surprised. After a long day at work, my brain is usually hanging on by a thread, but the lessons were clear enough that I didn’t feel like I was fighting for my life just to get through them. Being able to pause and come back later without losing my spot was an absolute lifesaver.
Some sections were a little dry, but I mean, it’s healthcare info, so I wasn’t exactly expecting fireworks and confetti. The quizzes actually helped things stick, and the layout was simple instead of making me click around in a panic. Overall, I’d definitely use it again for CE credits.

"Helpful for exam prep, just a little dry"
I used AHIMA while studying for my exam, and overall it really helped me feel more prepared. The practice questions felt similar to what I needed to get ready for, which made me more confident going in. Some of the material was a bit dry to get through, so I had to take breaks here and there, but I still think it was worth using for studying.

"Job board works, but the filters could be better"
I did end up finding a few decent jobs through the board, so it’s not bad overall. The main thing that bugged me was the filters felt limited, and I had to scroll through more listings than I expected. I reached out to support and they basically said something like, “We’re always working on improving search and filtering,” which was nice to hear, but I’d still like to see more options added.
"Helpful place to connect around health info"
I’ve found a few really useful groups and discussions here, and it’s been nice for meeting people with similar interests in health information. The site can feel a little busy at times, but once you get used to it, it’s not a big deal. Overall, it’s been a good place for networking.

"Quick help right when I needed it"
I had a question about my account and reached out not really knowing how long it would take. They got back to me quickly, and the answer was clear enough that I didn’t have to go back and forth a bunch. It fixed the issue and made a stressful moment feel a lot easier. I really appreciated that

"Honestly, it just worked really well for me"
I don’t know, everything about the classes just felt smooth to me. The site was easy enough to use, the videos loaded fine, and I didn’t run into any problems. Overall, I had a really good feeling about it.

"Login’s been a nice little win for me"
I mostly use ahima.org for my account and CE things, the login has been refreshingly easy. I’m always a little annoyed when sites make me fight with passwords, but this one hasn’t given me any of that drama, no random lockouts or endless resets. It loads quickly, I get in without a hassle, and that puts me in a much better mood. Happy with it overall...

"Refund was actually painless"
I had to cancel my AHIMA order and I was a little nervous about it after seeing some mixed reviews online, because you never really know how these things are going to go. But support got back to me, explained what info they needed, and the refund was handled without much hassle. It did take a few days to show up, which is normal I guess, but I didn’t have to keep emailing them or chasing anyone down. Overall, way easier than I expected
"Tough exam, but honestly worth it"
The exam was hard, and at first I thought it was maybe a little too much, actually, thinking about it, it did feel fair overall. Definitely challenging, but not in a bad way.
